Let's see how good the HWRF really is as it's now showing weakening:

The new 18Z HWRF run for Hurricane Delta is now showing steady weakening before landfall in the Yucatan Peninsula tomorrow morning due to mid-level wind shear; it's showing a pressure rise from 944 mb to 960 mb. Small hurricanes, like Delta, are more prone to rapid fluctuations in intensity.
