- Dry weather continues through the weekend with today being the coolest day. You can see the mild weather for next week. Rainfall amounts for Halloween have decreased, and while there may be some showers in the morning, it's possible that there isn't much rain on Long Island for the afternoon into early evening before more showers at night; however, it's still a few days away. I have included 5 rainfall maps below.
- We still have the potential tropical system in the Caribbean Sea, and the NHC is now up to a 60% chance of tropical development within the next 5 days. The Euro ensembles are generally not overly bullish as there is some dry air and wind shear to deal with.
