- Not a great day today with cloud cover and some drizzle or possible widely scattered showers/ sprinkles at times with a better chance in Suffolk. I have included a future radar video below.
- A nice day tomorrow and then a strong cold front moves through the northeast tomorrow night with snow squalls inland (see future radar below). It will bring a brief period of rain to Long Island between around midnight and 3 AM from west to east with windy conditions.
- Chilly and a little breezy on Thursday behind the cold front with highs only in the mid 40's for the most part.
- Then we have the bigger system for Friday night into Saturday with rain and wind with temps warming into the 60's on Saturday. Wind gusts will be up to 40 mph Saturday afternoon/evening, and there is a slight chance of a thunderstorm as the cold front moves through later in the day/evening. Long Island should receive less than an inch of rain overall though.
- Chillier on Sunday and then milder again on Monday with mostly sunny skies both days.
