Long Island forecast with some comments on northeast snow potential:

- See below for the details of the Long Island forecast.

- Multiple systems for the northeast next week. The first is basically late Sunday night into Monday with rain for mostly eastern areas. The next system is a fairly weak system for late Tuesday night into Wednesday with possibly some light rain to the south and light snow for northern New England. The main system is mainly for Thursday into early Friday as the main storm cuts to the west, so it will likely be rain for Long Island and southern New England with some snow/ice to rain for central areas with snow for northern NY/New England, but let's see how it evolves as it's a week away still.

- We then have relatively colder air from around Feb 25th to March 2nd, and there will be a *chance* for some snow, even for Long Island in that period from late on Feb 26th until around March 1st/2nd.

- To show the difference, I have included the Model Blend snow map through next Friday (5th image) and then also the Euro ensemble mean snow map for the next 15 days (6th image) as well as the 15-day snow maps from every Euro ensemble member (7th and 8th images).
