Maps from the Euro showing the rain/wind and then the frigid wind chills for Christmas Eve/Day:

As expected, no real change from the new Euro run. The rapidly falling temperatures from Friday early afternoon to late evening will be pretty remarkable as temps on Long Island will go from the 50's into the low 20's with a slight chance that the rain could briefly end as snow. The Euro is showing wind chill temperatures in the single digits on Long Island for the mornings of Christmas Eve (4th image) and Christmas Day (5th image).

The 1st and 2nd images are for 7 AM Friday and 1 PM Friday, and the max gusts in knots are shown in the 3rd image.
