Multiple snowstorms for the northeast as ensembles are impressive:
The 1st image shows what we'll look like by the end of the month, LOL! I'm not really expecting big blizzards, but many snow events for the northeast. You already know about the snowstorm for tomorrow (see last 2 images). Then there will be a moderate snowfall for New England on Tuesday into Tuesday night, followed by a bigger storm on Thursday into Friday. For Long Island, it could be a moderate snowfall, possibly mixing with sleet or rain for a while and then ending as snow, followed by a frigid Valentine's Day. I will continue to update.
- The 2nd image shows the projected snowfall for the next 15 days from the Euro ensemble mean.
- The 3rd and 4th images show the projected snowfall for Long Island and Boston, respectively, for the next 15 days as a running total from every Euro ensemble member.
- The 5th image shows the projected temperatures with ranges for Long Island for the next 15 days from the Euro ensembles.
- The 6th and 7th images have more info on the snowstorm tomorrow for the Tri-State area from the National Weather Service.
