NAM and HRRR showing heavy accumulations on Long Island before any change to rain at night:

More updates to come, but the HRRR model is showing 5 to 7 inches already by 1 PM Monday when the run ends, but the snow will continue throughout the afternoon before any potential change to sleet and then rain in the evening. Also, the HRRR snow map (2nd image) is more accurate because it's not using a standard 10:1 ratio, which is why I won't post the NAM snow map. However, the NAM is showing the potential for snowfall rates that could exceed 2 inches per hour at times; the 1st image is the NAM at Noon on Monday.
