The 1st image is the future radar from the GFS for 10 PM Monday, and the 2nd image is the GFS snow map with it showing roughly around 2 inches for Long Island.
The RGEM model is showing around 6 or 7 hours of snow on Long Island.
Let's see if the Euro holds its ground again, and then we will see later this afternoon if the National Weather Service increases its snow forecast for Long Island, which is currently less than a half-inch.
The latest NWS snow map (only through 7 AM Tuesday) and the last Model Blend snow map (through Tuesday night) are shown in the 3rd and 4th images, respectively.
