- I have included the future radars from 4 PM tomorrow to 1 PM Saturday from the NAM, and then 4 PM tomorrow to 7 AM Saturday (the end of the run) from the HRRR. The snow maps for each are below that, but the HRRR snow map ends at 7 AM Saturday with it still snowing.
- They are both basically showing rain changing to snow on Long Island by around 3 AM Saturday. Don't take the NAM snow map literally though as it's a 10:1 snow map and ratios will be below that as it will be a wet snow with temps mostly around 34 degrees. The HRRR snow map is a dynamic ratio snow map.
- Let's see how the afternoon runs look and see if the National Weather Service raises their snow totals for Long Island later this afternoon.
