- Some of the Euro ensemble members are showing a hurricane heading in the general direction of the United States around the middle of the month. Nothing to worry about right now, but you know I will be watching it every step of the way.
- The 2nd and 3rd images show the observed wind gusts, and you can see how they were generally stronger in the tri-state area than they were in the Carolinas as the storm transitioned into a powerful extratropical storm after interacting with a very strong low-level jet stream.
