Quick update on all of the upcoming snowstorms from the new model blend:
The National Weather Service model blend continues to show plenty of snow over the next 10 days from multiple systems (see 1st image).
It continues to trend down the totals for the storm today (see 2nd image).
The 3rd image shows the projected snowfall for the Tuesday storm.
The Wednesday afternoon into into Friday night storm for the northeast is longer duration and difficult to show in 24-hour snowfall maps, but the 4th and 5th images show the projected 24-hour snowfall from 7 AM Wednesday to 7 AM Thursday and from 7 AM Thursday to 7 AM Friday. There will be additional snowfall in New England after 7 AM Friday.
There is also a weak system for Valentine's Day and a potentially bigger storm for the 16th/17th.
