Quick update with the latest maps and a comment on the big offshore storm early next week:
Here are the latest snow, precipitation, and maximum wind gust maps from the National Weather Service.
As of now it still looks like the big storm for Tuesday will stay well offshore, but it could become a monster and bring blizzard conditions to parts of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland Tuesday night into Wednesday.
There may be a weak system for central to northern New England next Wednesday night and another for next Friday that could be a little stronger, and then the big mid-month storm looks like a cutter towards the Great Lakes, so New England will be on the warmer side of the storm.
My next update won't be until sometime between 8:00 and 9:00 tonight.
