Snow for the south (NC and then TX, LA, MS), but what about the northeast? Big storm?
The first storm will bring snow to western North Carolina tomorrow (Euro snow map in the 1st image), and then the next storm will bring snow to Texas on Sunday into Monday, and possibly into parts of Louisiana and Mississippi (Euro snow map in the 2nd image).
While the models all have the storm head off the Mid-Atlantic coast Tuesday into Wednesday, some of the Euro ensemble members have the storm come farther north (3rd image), so it still needs to be watched.
There will likely be a big storm form off the northeast coast or in Atlantic Canada next Friday night into Saturday (4th image). It's too soon to tell, but the best chance for a big snowstorm would be DownEast Maine and parts of Nova Scotia. Be patient; there will still be chances for a Long Island snowstorm after that.
The 5th and 6th images show the projected snowfall for the next 15 days as a running total from every Euro ensemble member for Long Island and Boston, respectively.
