- The details for Long Island are in the forecast below, but there are no real changes as you know about the rain and wind with gusts up to 40 mph late tomorrow night into Friday morning. Also, today will be cold and windy! After the storm, we have quiet weather for the weekend into the middle of next week. Attention then turns to the storm for late next week, around December 23rd.
- The latest GFS run does have a nice snowstorm for Long Island, but the Canadian and Euro have mostly rain. I have included the storm locations from the Euro ensembles and also the Long Island snow matrix below, so you can see the uncertainty. The odds still favor mostly rain for Long Island, but it's still 9 days away, so the forecast will continue to evolve! Either way, it still looks like a very cold Christmas behind the storm!
