***GFS and Euro both have some snow for Long Island as models starting to converge on the more southern track with the snow, but it may still come a little farther north as the best chance for higher accumulations may still be higher elevations of southern/central NY/New England***
- I have included the snow maps below from the Model Blend, Euro, GFS, and Euro ensembles (2 images) in the 2nd to 6th images, respectively. All of them are dynamic ratio snow maps, except for the 50 snow maps from the Euro ensemble members.
- It's still almost 4 days away, so there will be more shifts and fine-tuning. There is also some uncertainty in the exact timing, but it generally looks like Monday night into Tuesday afternoon as it will be fairly quick-moving. Any snow that falls on the southern to central extent would be a wet snow, and it would be more difficult to accumulate if it falls mainly in the daytime and if it's not a heavy snow.
- Stay tuned for many updates into early afternoon and then again tonight.
