- The main change has been an earlier timing as it could start Saturday late afternoon or more likely sometime in the evening for Long Island. The 1st image is from the Euro for early Sunday morning, and then I have included all of the snow maps below from the Euro, GFS, Model Blend, and Euro ensemble mean. It's still too soon to tell exactly where the track and rain/snow line will set up though, so stay tuned! - As I have been posting about the storm for next Tuesday into Wednesday will be a monster storm cutting well inland. So, for Long Island, it will be around 2 inches of rain with the potential for wind gusts up to 50 mph or so. For central to northern NY/New England, it will be snow changing to rain. Higher elevations have the potential for wind gusts over 60 mph. - Stay tuned for many more updates today into tonight!
