Temperatures dropping early this morning with the change to snow from west to east on LI:
Precipitation has changed back to snow early this morning in western Long Island and as the temperatures are dropping, the change to snow will be moving eastward with an additional inch or two of snow. The National Weather Service continues the Winter Storm Warning for for all of Long Island through 1 PM today for snowfall totals of 6 to 9 inches for Nassau and central to western Suffolk, 3 to 6 inches for southeastern Suffolk, and 4 to 7 inches for northeastern Suffolk. Wind gusts up to 55 mph in eastern Suffolk and 50 mph for the rest of Long Island.
