The last of the summer-like days for a while:

- Enjoy the warmth today because this will be the last of it for a while, but we should consider ourselves lucky for the weather we had this week as it's very rare in April.

- I have included a Euro video below which shows some showers at times (and possibly a thunderstorm) for tomorrow into early Sunday morning and then more rain for Monday.


LONG ISLAND FORECAST:

Today: Mostly sunny with high clouds and low humidity with highs in the low to mid 80's, but cooler for the south shore and especially the east end. Wind light and variable in the morning and then out of the SSW at 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with lows in the mid 50's in Nassau and low 50's in Suffolk with some upper 40' in eastern Suffolk. Wind out of the SSW at 10 to 15 mph in the evening and 5 to 10 mph after midnight.

Tomorrow: Cloudy and much cooler with occasional showers, especially in the late afternoon/ evening with a slight chance of a thunderstorm with highs in the low to mid 60's, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind light and variable early in the morning and then out of the E at around 10 mph.

Tomorrow night: Occasional showers and possibly a thunderstorm with lows in the low to mid 50's in Nassau and low 50's in Suffolk with upper 40's in eastern Suffolk. Wind out of the ENE at 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: Showers/drizzle ending early in the morning and then mostly cloudy with only a slight chance of a shower with highs in the low 60's, but cooler for the south shore and especially the east end where highs will be in the upper 50's. Wind ENE at 5 to 10 mph.

Monday: Rainy with highs in the low 60's, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the E then SE at 10 to 15 mph.

Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower with highs in the upper 50's, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the W at 10 to 20 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs around 60 degrees, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the WNW at 10 to 20 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 60's in Nassau and mid 60's in Suffolk, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the W at 10 to 15 mph.
