- The details for Long Island are shown in the 1st image as there will be a few rain and/or snow showers early tonight, and it will then become very windy later tonight and into tomorrow, especially tomorrow morning with wind gusts up to 40 mph.
- The 2nd image shows the Wind Advisory to our north with wind gusts potentially up to 55 mph.
- The snow for Long Island looks to be mainly from around 1 or 2 AM Saturday until around Noon, maybe slightly later out east with 1 to 2 inches of snow being possible with the highest amounts being south and east. The 3rd to 5th images are the snow maps from the National Weather Service, Model Blend, and Euro through Saturday afternoon, so they are for both systems combined.
- Very cold Saturday night, and then a gradual warm-up into next week with highs peaking in the upper 40's next Thursday.
- It still looks like a northeast storm around next Friday, but there is uncertainty, and the best chances for snow with likely be inland and to the north and especially at higher elevations. Let's see how it evolves. Then there may be another storm at the end of the month.
