The Long Island forecast with no big changes and no snow on the horizon, but cold and windy Tuesday:

Today: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the upper 40's. Wind out of the WNW to NW at 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Tonight: Clear and cold with lows in the low 30's in Nassau and upper 20's to low 30's in Suffolk. Wind out of the NW at 10 to 15 mph in the evening and then decreasing to 5 mph towards morning.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny in the morning with increasing clouds in the afternoon with highs in the upper 40's. Light and variable wind at around 5 mph.

Tomorrow night: Mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 30's. Light and variable wind at 5 mph or less.

Sunday: Cloudy with a slight chance of scattered light showers by mid to late afternoon with highs in the upper 50's. Wind out of the SSW at 5 to 15 mph.

Monday: Showers likely in the morning and then clearing skies and turning cooler in the afternoon with morning temperatures in the mid to upper 50's and then falling into the upper 40's by late afternoon. Wind out of the SSW to WSW in the morning and then W to WNW in the afternoon at 10 to 20 mph.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy, windy, and cold with highs in the low 40's. Wind out of the WNW to NW at 15 to 30 mph with gusts over 35 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the mid 40's. Wind out of the WNW at 10 to 20 mph.

Thanksgiving: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 50's.
