Don't take this map literally, but it's showing downpours training up from the south over the same on Long Island. Kind of insane to see some localized rainfall amounts over 12 inches, and this map only goes until 7 PM tomorrow. I'm not saying these extreme amounts will happen, but this has life-threatening flash flood potential. Let's see what the NAM shows next. The exact location of the axis of heaviest rainfall in these inverted trough scenarios are difficult to pinpoint, but it's starting to come into focus.
