- Overall, the Euro ensembles are farther southeast with the Saturday storm, but it's still 5 days away and there are enough outliers to keep some interest in watching it. The chances for a snowstorm on Long Island are very low though. If it does shift a little northward, snow away from the coast in southern New England is possible.
- Then there is the potential storm for the early to middle part of next week, and as you would expect, there is more divergence in the ensembles for that storm, but it definitely bears watching, so I will keep updating on it.
- To give an idea what the ensembles are showing for each, the 1st and 2nd images are the projected storm locations at 7 PM Saturday and 7 PM next Tuesday, and then I have included the ensembles snowfall matrix for Long Island in the 3rd image. The 4th and 5th images are the 7-day snow maps from every ensemble member, and then the 6th and 7th images are the 10-day snow maps, so that would cover both storms combined.
