Update on the downpours with yet another slight tornado threat, the tropics, and a nice weekend:

Writer's picture: My Personal Weatherman™My Personal Weatherman™

- The models continue to show the threat of localized torrential downpours overnight tonight into early tomorrow morning for Long Island and southern New England, and there is another very slight chance of a tornado (see 4th image), but it's nothing to worry about. I'll have more updates on this and will probably post a future radar video later this morning.

- VERY humid tomorrow after the downpours end early tomorrow morning in eastern Suffolk, and with the humidity, it will feel hot. There will likely be a few scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening with the potential for a downpour.

- Nice for Wednesday and Thursday with moderate humidity, and then a few showers or a thunderstorm are possible Friday morning into early or mid afternoon with clearing skies later in the day and turning less humid.

- Beautiful for Saturday with sunshine and low humidity and then much warmer on Sunday, but still mostly sunny skies and only moderate humidity.

- The tropics continue to show signs of life, but the chances of a tropical storm forming this week are low.
