- A weakening cold front today with bring some clouds to Long Island, but after a chilly start, the temperatures will get into the mid 60's. Perfect weather tomorrow with blue skies and highs in the upper 60's with the same for Wednesday, although high clouds will begin to increase in the afternoon.
- The cold front will bring a period of rain to Long Island with some moderate to heavy downpours with a chance of a thunderstorm and windy conditions on Thursday, especially late afternoon and through the evening. Isolated max wind gusts up to 45 to 55 mph are possible in any thunderstorm or period of heavier rain with a strong low-level jet overhead.
- No tropical storms or hurricanes are expected for at least the next 7 days.

Tonight: Becoming mostly clear and nearly calm with lows in the upper 40's.
Tomorrow: Sunny with highs in the upper 60's. Wind nearly calm in the morning and then out of the WSW at 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Tomorrow night: Mostly clear with lows in the low 50's. Wind out of the SW at 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny with increasing clouds in the afternoon with highs in the upper 60's. Wind out of the SW at 5 mph in the morning and then out of the SSW at 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
Thursday: Cloudy and becoming breezy with a chance of scattered showers in the morning and then rain developing in the afternoon with a chance of a thunderstorm with highs around 70 degrees. Wind out of the S at 10 to 15 mph in the morning and 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon/evening. There will likely be a period moderate to heavy rain and max wind gusts over 35 mph in the evening/night with a chance of an early evening thunderstorm.
Friday: Showers ending early in the morning and then becoming mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60's. Wind out of the WNW at 10 to 15 mph.
