Update on the Tropics and Long Island Weather

- Invest 95L now has a 60% chance of tropical development. While a Tropical Depression is likely to form in the next day or two, dry air and wind shear are expected to cause weakening later this week.

- For Long Island, very warm and humid today through Wednesday with the heat index in the 90's all 3 days. Tomorrow will be the hottest, and Wednesday will be the most humid. A Heat Advisory is in effect for Nassau for all 3 days.
