... over 40 mph for the coast. Also, watching the Gulf and eastern Atlantic for Sean/Tammy***
- While there are still plenty of differences in the models/ ensembles, it generally looks like rain developing around Saturday afternoon on Long Island and continuing into Sunday with periods of showers even possible next Monday and Tuesday as the storm is slow to pull away as it weakens. The heaviest rain may be for Saturday night. Also, depending on the strength of the storm, there is the potential for wind gusts up to 45 mph right along the coast for Long Island and southeastern New England. - There will also be a storm in the Gulf of Mexico that will bring a lot of rain and wind to the central to eastern Gulf coast Wednesday night into Thursday. The National Hurricane Center is only giving it a 10% chance of tropical development, but the Euro ensembles are much more bullish on it. There is also the system in the eastern Atlantic that may become a Tropical Depression in a few days. The next 2 names on the list are Sean and Tammy.
