- There haven't really been any changes with the weekend storm as it will become a strong storm far enough to the southeast of Long Island, so that we just get rain. The rain still looks to mostly storm in the early to mid afternoon from west to east, but a light shower can't be ruled out in the morning, especially for Nassau. The rain looks like it will end between around 7 AM and 9 AM on Sunday from west to east, although the NAM has it linger a little later than that. I will post a future radar video later this morning.
- A weaker system offshore will probably bring some showers between around Monday night and Tuesday afternoon or evening.
- Then nice weather and milder for Thursday and Friday.
- The next potential bigger northeast storm is for around October 22nd/23rd (see last image).
- Invest 94L is now up to a 60% chance of tropical development, and the Euro ensembles are still giving it a chance to become a hurricane and affect the eastern Caribbean islands, and Tammy is the next name on the list.
- Tropical Storm Sean is nothing to worry about.
