Updated forecast with some comments/maps and a look ahead:

- There have really been no significant changes to the forecast as today will be another warm day, and the cold front will come through Long Island tomorrow evening/night with rain and possibly some brief thunder (mostly for western sections to have any chance). The rain should develop from west to east around 6 PM to 7 PM in Nassau and not until around 9 PM in eastern Suffolk (I've included 4 images from the future radar below). Ahead of the front, it will be windy in the afternoon and evening with gusts up to 30 mph from the south and then quickly shifting to W to WNW at 10 to 20 mph once the front passes.

- Besides a chance of a stray passing shower Sunday and Monday, it will be a mostly sunny week with the next chance of showers possibly on Friday, although most of the rain should be north of Long Island. It no longer looks like a big coastal storm for late next weekend.
