Upper 60's in NE NJ today, the L.I. forecast, and still watching a potential storm around Jan 14th:

- You can see the forecast highs for today in the 1st image, and 70 degrees can't be ruled out in northeastern NJ with enough sun. Highs on Long Island will vary greatly where it may reach 65 degrees out my house in northwestern Nassau, but only the low 50's out by Montauk. You can see areas where the warm front hasn't reached in New England will be much chillier.

- The rain should arrive on Long Island between around 4 PM and 5:30 PM from west to east and continue mostly until around or just after midnight.

- The Jan 11th storm will probably stay offshore and keep us dry, but there is still the potential storm around Jan 14th, as you can see in the 3rd image. The details are obviously highly uncertain still, but I will continue to update. At this point, almost 1/3rd of the Euro ensemble members are showing at least some snow for Long Island with around 15% of them showing a decent snowstorm.
