Some showers are probable for late Sunday night into early Monday morning, but Memorial Day may just be cloudy and cool with temps in the low to mid 60's.
The odds of tropical development in the eastern Gulf has increased to 70%. It should make landfall, possibly as Tropical Storm Alberto, on Memorial Day somewhere between New Orleans and the Florida Panhandle. The UKMET is closer to the west coast of Florida than the Euro model. 5 to 15 inch rain potential still exists for areas just east of the center.
