- Tropical Storm Harold is heading into southern Texas this morning with rain and wind.
- Gert is about to dissipate.
- Tropical Storm Franklin will be flooding rain and wind to Hispaniola and then head northeast before curving back closer to the United States and passing inside (west) of Bermuda and then staying well offshore from the northeast.
- Of more concern may be the system that could come up from the southwestern Caribbean and into the central or eastern Gulf of Mexico and become a hurricane (see ensembles map below).
