Another warm day although with a large range of temperatures, and then cooler tomorrow and for the weekend, especially for Sunday with rain. Then warm weather returns on a Monday again!

- Rain for northern and then northeastern New England today.

- Huge temperature range today with mid 80's in central NJ, upper 70's by me in northern Nassau, and only low to mid 50's for Montauk (see 2nd image).

- Cooler with an onshore flow tomorrow and through the weekend with a rainy and chilly Sunday for Long Island with highs in the mid 50's.

- Much warmer early next week with the sun probably coming out Monday afternoon.

- Some showers are possible/probable by mid-week.
