***Brief post with snow maps as we have a Winter Storm Watch for Long Island for the potential for 5 to 8 inches of snow.***

- It will still start as rain tonight before changing to sleet and then a heavy wet snow tomorrow morning before ending around mid to late afternoon from west to east.

- I will post the updated close-up National Weather Service snow maps maybe by 6:30 AM, but the 1st and 2nd images have the updated amounts showing around 5 to 7 inches for Long Island. All offices may not have updated totals on that map yet though. I will post the updated compilation map later.

- 3rd to 6th images are Euro, GFS, NAM, and HRRR.

- While it's a 10:1 ratio, so amounts will be less, the Euro ensemble mean is 10 inches for Long Island! So figure a good chance hopefully of hitting those 5 to 7 inch totals. Stay tuned!
