After some flurries or snow showers on Long Island over the next few hours (mainly in Suffolk) and the frigid conditions, we begin the uptrend in temperatures over the next couple of days. Periods of rain from Wednesday to Friday, followed by a bit of a cooldown and that slight window for a northeast storm at the end of the month before some milder air returns for the first week or so of February. Snow chances should then increase for the rest of February. Let's see how things evolve.
