- We have the line of showers and storms for this morning with more action to the north, and then a second line of scattered storms to the north while we have a huge temperature gradient with highs today in the mid 80's in NYC, around 80 for me in northern Nassau and only low 60's for the south fork of Long Island.
- Still mild tomorrow with showers arriving mostly in the afternoon, and then the flow switches to a cooler onshore direction with occasional showers on Friday.
- Then we have dry and cool weather for Long Island on Saturday with occasional showers possible in the interior areas of the northeast as the upper level trough approaches.
- Cool weather continues on Mother's Day with some occasional showers and there could be isolated thunderstorms in the interior with a cold pool of air aloft.
- It clears up and warms up on Monday back into the 60's with sunshine.
- In the last image, you can see there will be a lot of rain for the southeastern states over the next 10 days!
