Flood Watch for Long Island for 2 to 4 inches, but some models have shifted north:

The NWS has issued a Flood Watch for all of Long Island from 5 PM today to 5 PM tomorrow for 2 to 4 inches of rain. However, periods of rain will continue into Wednesday, and many of the models have shifted the highest rainfall totals north of Long Island. I have posted all of the rainfall maps below, and some areas of southern New England could see localized amounts over 5 inches.

Tropical Storm Earl is expected to become a 120 mph hurricane by late week and pass east of Bermuda, but they are still in the cone of uncertainty. There are less ensemble members now that show it heading a little closer to the coast (see last image).
