New ensembles are concerning, and the latest on Fiona and the Long Island forecast:

- The Euro ensembles continue to show the potential for another hurricane to form next week in the Caribbean and possibly turn northward towards the western Gulf or Florida at the end of the month. It's too early for any further info, and the National Hurricane Center doesn't even have it as an area to watch yet.

- Hurricane Fiona made landfall in the western Dominican Republic early this morning with maximum sustained winds of 90 mph, and it will soon re-emerge over water and continue to strengthen as it heads close to Bermuda later this week as a major hurricane and then towards Newfoundland as a monster storm.

- The details for the Long Island forecast are below, but it will feel like summer today, and a cold front will come through this evening with some scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm, but the thunderstorms should mostly be north and west of Long Island. The next cold front comes through Thursday morning with showers and possibly a thunderstorm, and then a beautiful fall weekend is ahead with low humidity and highs in the mid 60's Friday (and windy), 70 degrees on Saturday, and the mid 70's on Sunday.
