No really hot weather or hurricanes in sight, and a beautiful weekend is coming:

- Watching the wave of low pressure that forms along the front to our south, which will bring some rain for tomorrow morning. There is uncertainty in just how much rain occurs, but the highest amounts for Long Island will likely be in southeastern Suffolk, and there is the potential for some heavy downpours as both the HRRR and NAM are showing. I will likely post some rainfall maps later this morning or a future radar.

- You all know about the beautiful weekend ahead with comfortably low temps/humidity.

- There will be some rain early next week with the exact details uncertain, but so far it looks like the best chance is Monday afternoon into Monday night.

- Invest 97L is still being given a 30% chance of tropical development, but it's really nothing to worry about, and no hurricanes in the Atlantic Basin are expected for at least the next 10 days.

- You can see from the 4th image that no real hot weather is in sight for the next 2 weeks.
