Some localized crazy rainfall amounts and still watching Earl as it may not head out to sea quickly:

You can see the localized insane rainfall totals from the NAM and HRRR, and I also included the HREF ensemble mean, but the HRRR and HREF ensemble mean maps only go out until 2 PM Tuesday.

Also, you can see in the 4th image (from polarwx.com) that it's not only some Euro ensemble members that have Earl miss its connection out to sea with the trough and getting trapped for a while off the coast beneath an amplifying ridge. This will be something to keep an eye on.
