Summer-like weather today but without the humidity:

- Today will likely be a couple of degrees warmer than yesterday, and very low humidity and breezy conditions in the afternoon will lead to an elevated risk of fire spread.

- Tomorrow should be almost as warm as today, but a sea breeze will kick in earlier for southeastern areas with much cooler air by late afternoon.

- That will be the end of the warmth as we will return to seasonable temperatures with highs generally between the mid 50's and mid 60's for the rest of the month for Long Island.

- An amazing 26 inches of rain fell in Ft. Lauderdale yesterday with over 20 inches in 7 hours creating incredible flash flooding.
