The rainy Saturday to be followed by a dry stretch of weather into Memorial Day weekend:

- Cool and very dry today with highs only around 60 degrees on Long Island.

- The rain should begin sometime around early to possibly mid-morning on Saturday as there are still timing differences, and the rain will continue into Saturday night before ending early Sunday morning from west to east.

- Don't expect any rain next week, and let's see if we can get the dry weather to last through Memorial Day, but that might be cutting it close. It looks like warmer weather for the end of the month into early June (see last image).
