The warming trend is underway with no snow in sight for the next 10 to 12 days:

- It will be a dry week for Long Island with temperatures warming every day. Rain chances increase from around late afternoon on New Year's Eve into New Year's Day.

- Temperatures look to return a little closer to normal by the time we get to around January 8th/9th.
