Trending colder, ocean/Sound effect snow, and wind burst:

- Tomorrow night and Saturday have trended even colder as Long Island may get down to 10 degrees by early Sat morning and only get up to around 21 degrees on Saturday afternoon (Christmas Eve).

- Check out the great job by the NAM in the 2nd image showing the ocean and Long Island Sound effect snow for tomorrow night into Saturday!

- While the wind will become really strong after midnight tonight, when that Arctic cold front comes through around 1 PM to 2 PM tomorrow, the wind will absolutely rip for a brief time with gusts up to 55 mph or even slightly higher (3rd image).

- After this storm, with the exception of any ocean/Sound effect snow, we may stay dry all the way through next Friday with temps warming about 3 to 4 degrees per day.
