Warmer today and overall a pretty nice stretch ahead, but you know that probably means some rain for Memorial Day weekend:

- Any showers and thunderstorms today are well inland in the northeast, and then tonight showers retrograde into eastern New England with an onshore flow and into tomorrow as showers approach from the west and weaken, so Long Island should be mainly dry until the weakening showers from the west approach around late afternoon and early evening when we will have a chance of light scattered showers.

- Basically dry then until a front approaches on Thursday with warmer weather and showers and possibly a thunderstorm.

- Friday then looks good, but a system will bring rain Memorial Day weekend, but the exact timing is uncertain. The Euro has it for Saturday and into part of Sunday, so stay tuned.
