- Very mild for southern/central areas of the northeast today with sunny skies and another beautiful day tomorrow, although with a sea breeze keeping it a little cooler for Long Island.
- A cold front from a storm in Canada swings through the northeast tomorrow night, and it will come through dry, except for northern New England. So, it will be cooler on Wednesday and Thursday, and there will be much more clouds on Thursday with a weak system in the area that may ruin the total lunar eclipse for very early Friday morning.
- Mild again this weekend with a chance of shower later Saturday, but the main action is for Sunday into Sunday evening from west to east with a period of moderate to heavy rain and strong southerly winds gusting up to 35 to 45 mph probably for most areas.
