A look at the Weather for the Upcoming Week and Still Watching the Tropics
Long Island is in store for a great stretch of weather from Sunday through Wednesday. Temperatures should be in the low to mid 80's each day with partly to mostly sunny skies. However, it looks like unsettled weather with periods of showers are possible from Thursday through next Saturday.
With regards to the tropics, the GFS model is once again picking up on a potential hurricane off the east coast in about 10 days. However, until there is support from some of the other models, specifically the Euro model, it can't be taken too seriously at this time.
