3:30 AM brief storm update for late next week:

No real changes overnight as an inland track is becoming increasingly likely. This would bring rain to Long Island from around Thursday afternoon into Friday late afternoon with mild temperatures initially and a lot of wind with some downpours Friday morning/afternoon with the potential for gusts up to 50 mph with a Wind Advisory being possible. Temperatures would then turn sharply colder as the front passes Friday afternoon or early evening, so can't rule out it ending briefly as snow showers. The forecast will continue to evolve though, so don't take this all literally just yet as the timing and details can still change a little. The 2nd to 5th images are from the Euro, Canadian, ICON, and GFS. Long Island temps are shown in the last two images. I will have more posts later this afternoon and evening.
