- First, of course there is Beryl, which is still expected to become a strong Cat 1 by landfall very early tomorrow morning in coastal Texas. It's not looking great right now, but it will strengthen significantly tonight right up to landfall.
- Hot and very humid for Long Island today with heat index temperatures of 95 to 100 degrees (see 4th image). The same for tomorrow with it being 1 to 2 degrees not as hot, LOL.
- It will basically be very humid all week and through next weekend for Long Island with dew points mostly in the low to mid 70's!
- With a slow-moving frontal system and tropical moisture, there will be some showers and thunderstorms at times from mid-week into the weekend. It obviously won't rain the entire time. The best chances are inland as you can see in the 10-day rainfall map below (5th image).
- There's a chance for a heat wave around July 14th to 16th (see last image for Long Island temps for the next 15 days).
