... damaging wind gusts for Cape Cod and DownEast Maine***
- No big changes with the clipper for tonight with it mainly bringing snow north of Long Island. The models have some decent accumulations up north, especially in the higher elevations.
- Still looks like the system with the warm front for Monday afternoon through the evening will cause some issues in the higher elevations to the north as snow changes to freezing rain and then rain for some areas.
- Still an impressive signal for a strong storm and cold front to bring widespread heavy rain in the northeast and ending as snow in the higher elevations inland and to the northwest. Potential for 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain for Long Island and southeastern New England. The Euro continues to show the potential for wind gusts over 60 mph for Cape Cod and DownEast Maine, but still time to see if the low-level jet shifts a little east or west.
