***3:50 AM post with the latest maps for the thunderstorms and Beryl***

- No big changes overnight from what I posted yesterday into last night as Beryl is still projected to become a 105 mph hurricane in a few days, although becoming a major hurricane at Cat 3 is still possible as it has favorable conditions for the strengthening the next few days with warm waters, low wind shear, and moist air. It will eventually weaken somewhat in the central to western Caribbean.

- The thunderstorms for this afternoon into tonight will be inland and then tracking east and weakening. Still watching the potential for strong to locally severe thunderstorms from the cold front tracking towards the coast Sunday afternoon into the evening with the potential for brief torrential downpours, hail, strong wind gusts, and even a relatively weak tornado can't be ruled out, especially just inland from the coast.

- Nice weather next week behind the front and then warmer and more humid for the 4th of July with only a slight chance of a thunderstorm in the evening.
